Our range of hydrants from underground to above ground play an important role in the connection of water distribution systems and act as water pressure regulators. With up to 10 bar pressure, they are widely used for firefighting equipment. Above ground, hydrants are used to connect fire fighting hoses or motor pumps, with the underground hydrants allowing access to portable solutions in the case of a fire.
Both hydrants also feature accessories such as duck foot bends, used for coupling underground and above ground hydrants to water distribution systems, ensuring a tight fixture to the pipe. Also, hydrant boxes are used extensively to protect underground hydrants. Made from ductile iron, they are extremely effective in protecting against corrosion.
